Adjustment of the appendix of the ordinance concerning measures against the Democratic Republic of Kongo and of Appendix 2 of the 'Taliban Ordinance'
To comply with the respective UN-resolutions the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs (FDEA) has adjusted the appendix of its ordinance concerning measures against the Democratic Republic of Kongo. The information concerning individuals, entities and organizations that is listed in the appendix has been updated and one name has been taken off that list. The appendix doesn't contain any new names. This change came into force as of June 10, 2008.
With regard to appendix 2 of its 'Taliban Ordinance' the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs (FDEA) at the 15th of May 2008 already made all the necessary adjustments that became necessary following the respective UN-resolutions. The names of 2 persons who do not appear in any of the so called 'Bush lists' published in Switzerland were added. Additionally some adjustments were made concerning 13 already existing entries. It has to be emphazised that every single financial intermediary has to report to the MROS and to the SECO any of his business relationships that involves people, entities or organizations mentioned in appendix 2.
