Handover in the Management of VQF
As of 1 June 2014, Nicolas Ramelet has joined VQF to succeed Stephan Ochsner as CEO of VQF.
Nicolas Ramelet graduated from University of Berne, law school, and passed the bar exam of the Canton of Berne, Switzerland. Nicolas Ramelet also has received a master degree (LL.M.) of UCLA Law School in capital markets regulation. Nicolas Ramelet has in depth-experience with financial market regulation: He has previously been a specialist with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA in its Markets Division, whereby he was in particular concerned with AML-related issues such as payment systems, insurance wrappers and virtual currencies and payment methods as well as the inception and the supervision of SRO. Before joining VQF, Nicolas Ramelet was an associate in the banking team of a well-known Swiss business law firm in Zurich, where he has mainly advised corporate clients in the field of national and international financial market regulations.

As of 1 June 2014, Dr. Stephan Ochsner, who has been VQF's CEO ad interim until 31 May 2014, has re-joined VQF's Supervisory Commission in his original function as a member of the commission. We at VQF want to thank Dr. Stephan Ochsner for his great accomplishments as VQF's CEO ad interim.
