New Ordinance of 2 April 2014 on measures to prevent the circumvention of international sanctions in connection with the situation in Ukraine (SR 946.231.176.72)
International sanctions
On 2 April 2014, by means of an Ordinance, the Federal Council adopted measures to prevent the circumvention of international sanctions in connection with the situation in Ukraine. The Ordinance provides for a ban on the opening of new business relationships (Article 1) and a duty to report for financial intermediaries (Article 3). The measures came into force at 18:00 hours on 2 April 2014.
