Amendment to the Ordinance of 13 May 2009 on Sanctions against Somalia (SR 946.231.169.4)
International sanctions
The Federal Department of Economic Affairs amended the Ordinance on Sanctions against Somalia on 7 September 2012. Two entries concerning natural persons were added. The amendment came into force on 11 September 2012. The amendment is available for consultation on the website of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
In accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance against Somalia, financial intermediaries are requested to report relevant business relationships to SECO and to immediately freeze the associated assets.
