Newsletter 95 - Combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism - Switzerland has decided to provide 5 million US dollars in support of poorer countries for the establishment of robust control mechanisms to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism. Implementation is by way of a multi-donor initiative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Switzerland is the largest donor to this initiative and has made a significant contribution to its formulation.
