Ladies and gentlemen
Dear members
The requirements for financial institutions to fulfil all requirements stipulated by FinSA and FinIA are complex and challenging. We are aware of our members’ desire for respective guidances and tools. We are thus happy to inform you that you can now find systematic guidances on FINcontrol’s homepage (currently only on the German page, we are working on the Englisch translation). These guiding handouts shall give you guidance how to draft all necessary regulations, guidances and other documents and what the minimal content of these documents should include. You can find the documents under https://www.fincontrol.ch/#guidances&tools under “Methodische Arbeitshilfen/Merkblätter/Wegleitungen”.
The timing of the publication of these guidances in May 2021 is convenient, as FINMA by now has specified its expectations and requirements in a variety of aspects and because FINcontrol Suisse Ltd. has gained insightful knowledge with the first affiliation applications. All of these aspects have been inserted in the now published guidances.
Further, we would like to draw your attention to the following upcoming information sessions of FINcontrol Suisse Ltd to said guidances:
Wednesday, 26 May 2021, 9.30 – 11.30 a.m.
Friday, 28 May 2021, 9.30 – 11.30 a.m.
Wednesday, 9 June 2021, 9.30 – 11.30 a.m.
Friday, 11 June 2021, 9.30 – 11.30 a.m.
The topics of each session as well as the information how to register for each session will be published shortly on VQF’s and FINcontrol’s homepages, via VQF newsletter as well as on FINcontrol’s IT portal.
Kind regards,
VQF
