Newsletter 592: Selbstdeklaration für das Geschäftsjahr 2018 und Umfrage FIDLEG und FINIG

FIDLEG Survey

This year we ask you to participate in a FIDLEG survey besides the regulatory Self-Declaration process. This survey is very important for the positioning of VQF. Even if you are not concerned by FIDLEG and FINIG, please take part in the survey. It will take you max. 10 to 15 minutes. You find the poll linked here (only in German).

Self-Declaration

The Self-Declaration process itself is unchanged. Therefore we have now activated the input form on the Collaboration Platform. The Self-Declaration (Online document VQF doc. no. 903.1) must be completed and submitted by 31 January 2019, regardless of whether you act on a professional basis (PFI status) or non-professional basis (NPFI status) and even so if you should not have any AMLA-files at all. A possible request for an extension of the deadline to submit the Self-Declaration must be filed with VQF by 31 January 2019 as well.

As in previous years, the electronic form for the Self-Declaration is available on the Collaboration Platform of our website at www.vqf.ch in the members' section. Please note that the previous year's data has already been adopted to the input form and therefore you only need to check the preset data and enter any changes and additions and answer the new questions that have been added to the form. Subsequently you have to transmit the Self-Declaration electronically and with this the submitting procedure is closed, hence the Self-Declaration is not to be submitted physically.

Please note that possible reminders in this context are measures with costs in the sense of our SRO-Regulations and will therefore each be charged with CHF 50 plus VAT to the corresponding member.

FIDLEG-Umfrage:

Die Selbstdeklaration 2018 beinhaltet nebst selbiger auch die Umfrage zu FIDLEG und FINIG. Diese ist sehr wichtig für die Positionierung des VQF. Auch wenn Sie NICHT davon betroffen sind, bitten wir Sie, sich diese maximal 10 bis 15 Minuten Zeit für unsere Umfrage zu nehmen. Die Umfrage finden Sie unter diesem Link. Vielen Dank!

Selbstdeklaration:

Die Selbstdeklaration präsentiert sich hingegen wie gewohnt. Ab sofort ist die diesjährige Eingabemaske in der Collaboration Platform aufgeschaltet. Die vollständig ausgefüllte Selbstdeklaration (Online Formular VQF Dok. Nr. 903.1) muss bis spätestens am 31. Januar 2019 eingereicht werden, unabhängig davon, ob Sie berufsmässig (BFI-Status) oder nichtberufsmässig (NBFI-Status) tätig sind oder wenn Sie inzwischen über gar keine GwG-Files mehr verfügen. Ein allfälliges Gesuch um Fristerstreckung richten Sie bitte bis am 31. Januar 2019 an den VQF.

Die Eingabemaske für die Selbstdeklaration finden Sie wie gewohnt auf unserer Website www.vqf.ch, unter "Mitglieder" auf der Collaboration Platform. Bitte beachten Sie, dass in der Eingabemaske die Daten des Mitglieds auf der Basis des Vorjahres bereits übernommen wurden, womit die schon hinterlegten Angaben nur noch kontrolliert und allfällige Änderungen und Ergänzungen eingegeben werden müssen. Zudem sind die neu hinzugekommenen Felder ebenfalls entsprechend auszufüllen. Die Selbstdeklaration wird anschliessend elektronisch an den VQF übermittelt. Damit ist der Vorgang abgeschlossen. Sie brauchen kein unterzeichnetes Exemplar mehr an den VQF zu senden.

Bitte beachten Sie in diesem Zusammenhang auch den Artikel im VQF Aktuell Nr. 37 vom Dezember 2018, in welchem wir ebenfalls über die diesjährige Selbstdeklaration und die jeweiligen kostenpflichtigen Massnahmeverfahren (Mahnungen) informieren.
