Newsletter 79 - VQF NEWSLETTER - LINKS in Previous Newsletters (up to 31.12.2008 – No. 72) -  The Financial Market Supervision Act (FINMAG), the Federal law enacted by the Swiss Federal Councils, came into force on 01.01.2009. The Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), to which self-regulating organisations are subject and hence fall under the jurisdiction of the VQF, commenced its activities on the same date. Accordingly, FINMA’s new website was also launched on the same day www.finma.ch. On the VQF website - under Newsletters / Newsletter Archives - you can view all the VQF Newsletters we have published to date. In this regard we wish to inform you that the links integrated into the previous Newsletters (i.e. up to and including No. 72) all point to the FINMA home page. However, the corresponding information from the previous Newsletters refers to the website of the former supervisory body, the Anti-Money Laundering Control Authority.
