Newsletter 560: The FINMA-circular “video and online identification” has been amended

Dear Sir or Madam,

Two years after the implementation of the FINMA-circular “video and online identification”, FINMA has amended the circular. Please find here the respective news publication of FINMA.

VQF would like its members to be able to benefit from the video and online identification FINMA circular without having to receive an exemption from the supervisory commission pursuant to Art. 19 Para. 2 of the VQF SRO regulations.According to VQF circular 2016/1, the FINMA-circular “video and online identification” is continuously directly applicable.
